Services

News & Feature Writing

Press releases are no longer for journalists exclusively. In fact, a well-crafted, informative press release or an interesting feature story, delivered through the right channels, will serve as a platform for communicating your brand's key messages to the numerous stakeholder groups you need to reach.

Thought Leadership

Customers want to know they are partnering with the top minds in their respective sectors. Thought leadership content is essential to establishing a brand associated with innovation. By offering insight on an industry trend, challenge, or news event, you build an association in a stakeholder's mind, which will eternally connect your brand to the problems you solve.

Sales Funnel Support

A strong "leave-behind" is still essential to a promising sales call, but it has become so much more. Case studies, one-sheets, fact sheets, FAQs, white papers, social media posts, emails, e-newsletters, and infographics are the core pieces of a strong brand's content library. They are critical to successful inbound and outbound lead-generation.

But the bulk of Josh's work has been in technology, commercial real estate, professional services, finance, life sciences, Jewish non-profit and public affairs.

Q: What type of writing does Josh do?

A: Throughout his career, Josh has received praise for his versatility. He has experience with feature and news writing, thought leadership, executive and corporate profiles, marketing/sales content, and social media copy.

Q: What are Josh's rates?

A: Josh charges a flat rate based on assignment length, deadline, and estimated hours for completion. Multi-assignment discounts are available.

Q: Does Josh pitch stories to the media (a.k.a. "earned media")?

A: While Josh has deep experience pitching and placing earned media, it is not one of his principal offerings. He does, however, have a robust referral network that includes many of the top independent publicists in the business.

Q: What is Josh's typical engagement process?

A: The project begins with an intake call to discuss the client's needs, business objectives, existing content assets, target audience(s), positioning, key messages, and distribution channels. From the intake call, Josh will provide a project quote. Once hired, he will begin the "production" process, during which he will gather source materials, conduct interviews and produce a first draft.

Q: Does Josh include edits as part of the engagement?

A:  Yes. Josh will perform one round of copy, line, and structural edits as part of the engagement. This means it is critical for the client to provide necessary reference materials, source contacts (if necessary) and meaningful, specific feedback.
